Terms of Use

Seela AI, Inc. (“Seela”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your Personal Information and privacy. This Policy explains what we collect, how we use, share and protect information, and the choices you have. It also describes Seela’s privacy and data protection practices.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to information collected through our website at https://seela.ai (the “Website”) and/or any related services, sales, marketing, or events (collectively, the “Services”).

If you do not agree with this Policy, please discontinue use of the Services. For questions or concerns about our practices, contact support@seela.ai.

1. When We Collect Personal Information

We collect Personal Information when:

(a) you register for the Services;

(b) you access or interact with the Services, including invoking third-party AI models and uploading content/parameters used for generation (collectively, “Inputs”);

(c) you contact our support team or otherwise communicate with us; or

(d) you view or interact with our emails or other communications.

2. What Personal Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

(a) Account Information. When you register or use single sign-on (e.g., Google Sign-In), we receive your email address, display name/username, and account status. If you use Google Sign-In, we do not receive your Google password; we only receive OAuth identifiers/tokens necessary for authentication (not email contents).

(b) Support & Communications. When you submit tickets, emails, or forms, you may provide your name, contact email (work/personal), phone number, company name, job title, website/social links, time zone, and other details relevant to your inquiry. We use this information to provide support and may retain records as reasonably necessary for compliance, auditing, and dispute resolution.

(c) Transactions & Billing. To purchase subscriptions or plans, you may provide billing details (e.g., invoicing name, address, tax ID). Payment card data is processed by compliant third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe); we do not store full card numbers or CVV codes on our servers.

(d) Inputs/Outputs. When you invoke third-party models or our features, you upload or enter text, images, audio, video, reference assets, and parameter settings (e.g., prompts, seeds, model/version, control settings), and you receive corresponding Outputs.

i. Private use. Except for what is necessary to provide the Services (including routing, abuse prevention, metering, and billing), we do not use your Inputs/Outputs for model training unless you expressly opt in within your account settings.

ii. Public sharing (Inspiration Plaza). If you choose to publish your work to the Inspiration Plaza, you agree that output previews and the generation parameters necessary for one-click reuse may be shown to other users, who can reuse them on-platform to create their own outputs (see the Terms of Use, Section 5.7). You retain ownership of your published works/parameters and must ensure you have the rights to share them publicly.

Sensitive Information Notice. Your content may include data considered “sensitive” under applicable privacy laws (e.g., facial images/voice, precise location, health, minors’ data). Submit such data only where necessary and lawful. If your content includes third-party personal data, you are responsible for providing any required notices and obtaining valid consent/authorisation.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

(a) Service form inputs. We do not intentionally collect personal information from visitors who merely browse our Website. However, some information you provide via forms or interactive components may be captured by our systems as part of Service operation.

(b) Website metadata & analytics. We may collect IP address, device/browser information, visit timestamps, new vs. returning status, viewed products/pages, page response times, URL clickstream, session duration, and on-page interactions.

(c) Cookies and similar technologies. We may use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags and similar tools to personalise your experience and measure the effectiveness of our site and campaigns. See Section 6 (Online Tracking & Opt-Out).

2.3 Information from Third Parties

(a) When you interact with our accounts on third-party platforms, we may receive certain information (e.g., referral metadata, platform account ID, campaign/source attribution).

(b) We may also engage data partners to provide business contact details or analytics about audiences interested in our Services. Such processing will follow applicable law and platform policies.

Children. The Services are intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under 18. If you believe we have collected such information, contact support@seela.ai and we will delete it.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We do not use your Inputs/Outputs for model training unless you opt in. We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

(a) Provide and maintain the Services. This includes routing requests to third-party models to generate/edit text, images, audio and video; saving and managing your projects and parameters; billing; and support. Where you opt to publish to the Inspiration Plaza, we display output previews and enable on-platform one-click reuse of your published parameters/templates (see Terms §5.7).

(b) Customer support. To respond to bug reports, inquiries, and feedback.

(c) Service improvement & troubleshooting. To diagnose issues, maintain performance, enhance features, perform quality assurance, and develop new functionality.

(d) Communications. To send transactional notices, important updates, and (with your consent where required) information about features, products, and services.

(e) Enforce agreements and policies. To ensure compliance with our Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, and applicable licences.

(f) Legal and business purposes. To detect and prevent fraud/abuse, collect outstanding amounts, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations.

(g) With your consent. Where you provide consent for specific uses.

4. How We Disclose Personal Information
